Rev. Glenn Mayeux assumed the pulpit in 2000 with a vigor for reaching the lost and discouraged and a passion for reclaiming the youth. With a hunger for true worship and a speciality in latter day prophecy Rev. Mayeux has managed to merge the knowledge of the past with the excitement of a rapidly fulfilling prophetic future.

Our annual Easter Rally, which is geared toward planting the seeds of Gods love in the hearts of our youngest members, was a huge success. Opening with a puppet show, followed by food, an egg hunt, and fun for all. The day was a flawless blessing for young and old alike.
Easter Youth Rally
Our 2008 Summer Rally was held July 12. It started with a service consisting of Praise and Worship songs followed by a message from Malachi Mayeux. After the service all where treated to BBQ burgers and hot dogs. The rest of the day was a party of slip-n-slides and water guns.

The Lettsworth Methodist Protestant Church was found in 1967 by Rev. Lloyd H. Mayeux. Rev. Mayeux was loved and greatly respected for his
Founder
undying devotion to the community and the church, but mostly to God. He was head Pastor of the LMP church for 33 years until his death in 2000. His service to others also included 4 terms as president of the Louisiana Methodist Protestant Movement and convention of Churches.
